Jimmy began training in jazz, tap, hip hop, ballet and lyrical with the Dance Gallery Studio of Performing Arts; trained by great instructors such as Rosemary Baker, Ray Young and Judy Ann Basin. His passion for the feel of the music, led Jimmy to share his talent with different organizations and charities. As a member of his high school dance team, he became the first male dancer to merge into the program since it began 32 years ago. At the age of 18, Jimmy was invited to be a part of the American Dance Alliance Camp Dance Company as a dance instructor/ choreographer, focusing on ways to direct dancers to the right terminologies and the beauty of the art. In his path of faith, his world was changed, when Emmy nominated choreographer, Glenn Douglas Packard, favored him. Jimmy has worked with amazing choreographers including Glenn D. Packard, Gerard Heintz, Janet Jones, Anibal Marrero, Shane Sparks, Wade Robson, Keith Young, Maria Torres, Travis Payne, and Robert Royston. He has performed live in the Latin Grammy’s and the Latin Bill Board awards with Olga Tanon, David Bisbal, and Gloria Trevi.
